Supercheap Auto Belmont

It takes a lot for me to give a negative review, but SCA Belmont have earned this one.I have stopped going to this store. I used to go to vic park but that is currently under renovation. Vic park was great store with really helpful staff.The Belmont store however has a serious problem when it comes to service. Its like they are being inconvenienced by you asking for help or assistance.The last straw came last Friday when I went there to pick up a few hundred dollars worth of gear, one of which was very heavy. Normally I don't need help, but this time was different as I just recently had an operation on my spine so have to be careful with heavy lifting.Firstly I had to wait quite a while in line as the staff were 'chatting' with other staff and customers and seemed quite happy to keep other customers waiting. But that's ok, I understand this sometimes happens.So after several minutes I am served - I tell them I have a click and collect order and he then gets someone else to go fetch it. The other person takes even longer to get it - could not find it apparently - but he/she/whatever eventually brings my goods on a trolley and just leaves it.In the meantime the person who served me started serving another customer. The thing is I was not finished purchasing. I decided to buy a few other goods worth almost another $1100... you would think I would be viewed as a good customer for wanting to spend over $2000 in one day... but no... I had to wait again for this idiot to serve me. Im being kind when I use the word idiot. I got tired of waiting as a queue had formed, so I interrupted and asked what do I do now. He said I can take the goods but just make sure I bring the trolley back, as if I'm going to steal it or something and no offer to help.I managed to put the goods in the car myself and brought back his 'precious' trolley. I then went into the store to look at the other products I wanted, but could not decide as I had a few questions about which one to choose. I tried to find another staff member but they were all to busy.I gave up in disgust and went to SCA Cannington. Service there was chalk and cheese. They were friendly, helpful, answered my questions and took my gear to my car and loaded it for me. Very happy I was after spending almost $1000 on air compressor and air tools.Now the other reason I am making this review is because I have had the same treatment two other previous times before. This was the third time I was treated like a second class person.I would rather go to another store or even Bunnings if they have the same product. I would even pay more not to experience these people.I think if Supercheap corporate is fine to have its customers treated this way then I will need to look for an alternative.Either way I will never ever go back to SCA Belmont.

Check the fine print about car battery fitting service. Steve the team member was very apologetic but they're not allowed to fit batteries on certain models.

Ordered and paid for an expensive head unit. Travelled a long way to collect it right on the promised two-hour mark. Upon arrival was advised the item is out of stock Statewide and that I should not have attended until the email was sent telling me to collect it. As I was standing there that email arrived. I complained that if they had seen the order, determined it was out of stock and then sent it to an admin team in the Eastern states, who by then were closed for the day, why didn’t someone just call me and tell me they would process a refund? Sorry SCA, I’m not a fan and won’t be back!I posted here because SCA sent me an email saying, “Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. Thanks for sharing, and we hope to publish next time!”After their feedback if I could give zero stars I would.

Amazing customer service, came in this morning amazing customer service and knowledgeable staff. All round great experience.

Been a few times and always the team delivers great customer service. Thanks guys. Fast approaching and professional skills which makes business very pleasant. Always offering assistance, help and more information. Went twice the same day and different members served me with genuine attention to what I was looking for. Love when there are staff ready and able to help. At the counter a young lady proceeded to do billing/payment in a very calm and professional manner. Fantastic Organizational Culture...

From my own personal experience with Supercheap Auto in Belmont they are a large store with multiple staff members that I've met over the years. Some staff members have been very helpful and polite whilst others for some reason are not. Supercheap Auto in Belmont do generally have different specials on at different times and have they say they have over 300,000 spare parts and from my experience they do carry a large selection of products as mentioned. They have also a battery service where you can either purchase your battery and they fit it you or you just purchase and you fit. Plenty of parking out the front of the store. They also have a Click and Collect so you can order online and collect in store same day.

So tired of SCA. Set my store location to see if something was in stock, which the website says it is, only to find after driving there they don't have them in stock. Rubbish website and usually rubbish products if it the SCA brand. I try my hardest to use repco or Autobarn

I attended the store on Wednesday the 5th of April 2023. I would like the staff who were rostered on at 1330hrs to be acknowledged for their incredibly professional friendly service! Best service I have received in a LONG time from ANY store! I needed a brake light, and before I had to ask I was told exactly where it was. Before I made it to the aisle another staff member had over heard, grabbed the exact bulb I needed and handed it to me. I was in the store for less than a minute!

My friend got involved in a car crash.His car's indicator broke on impact so I drove him there to get a replacement.He didn't want Police stopping and charging him.We got to Supercheap Auto and found what we were looking for in less than 3 minutes of getting there and one if the staff also went the extra mile and fitted it into it's casing.This store has always been well stocked!
